A kindergarten student at the Stella School tested positive on Monday, January 18, for coronavirus after members of the child’s family also tested positive.

As PCR tests are not carried out on kindergarten students and they are not obliged to wear a mask because of their young age, the Prince’s Government decided, as a precautionary measure, that all pupils of the class concerned will be sent home until next Monday, January 25.

The parents of the pupils concerned were directly informed by the school administration. The Stella school continues to welcome students from other classes in accordance with the health measures in force. As regards the school staff in contact with the student, they will be given a PCR test, in accordance with the health measures in place.
