Another resident – 75 years-old – has died at Princess Grace Hospital, it was announced on Tuesday evening. The patient had tested positive at the hospital and had been admitted as an in-patient. The death took place in the morning of January 12.
The latest death took the total number of coronavirus victims among residents to seven since the start of the pandemic, according to Monaco Government figures.
Twenty-five new cases were reported among residents on Tuesday. Of 14 residents in CHPG, six are in intensive care.
Seventeen residents were reported to have fully recovered over the 24 hours, while the number of residents with mild symptoms recovering at home under the supervision of the Home Monitoring Centre stood at 124 on Tuesday evening.
Meanwhile, in the UK on Tuesday, 45,533 new cases and 1,243 new deaths were reported. French figures were not available at 20:20.
