Monaco, Monday, December 3, 2020
Monaco Telecom is enhancing the quality of hosting services in Monaco with its new ISO 27001 certification.
Delivered by Certi-Trust, the certification guarantees that security requirements are integrated into the management of its Data Centers. These requirements cover the infrastructures and their operation, the information systems, the site layouts, the security of their access, the teams’ skills, the backup systems, and the recovery plan in case of an incident.
The ISO 27001 standard is key to the confidence of digital players, and will boost the Principality’s reliability and competitiveness while promoting its digital attractiveness. For Monaco Telecom’s customers and partners, the standard is an assurance that their data is secured.
Monaco Telecom’s Martin Péronnet said: “ISO 27001 certification is the culmination of a fundamental approach to support the excellence of our hosting services in Monaco. It attests to the progress made by the entire organization in improving the security and reliability of our processes. We owe it to our customers who trust us to host their servers in Monaco. The digital transformation of the Principality and the development of its digital economy can now rely on infrastructures that meet the highest international quality standards.”
Since 2007, Monaco Telecom has been operating its own Data Centers designed to host our customers’ IT and network infrastructures in Monaco under the best conditions of security, confidentiality and availability.
