PRESS RELEASE

Monaco, 16 NOVEMBER 2020

The mobile version of the directory now includes a single search engine, better promotion of professionals and inspiration for outings in Monaco.

A more digital online directory

Because of its format and practicality, the Monaco directory is a highly anticipated publication each year and used daily by the entire Principality. Its digital evolution is fully in line with the more general context of digital transformation in the Principality carried out under the impetus of the Extended Monaco program.

Along with the paper edition, a mobile version is now available. Produced with the Complus agency, this new “webapp” is also accessible on computer and tablet, at the same address; www.annuaire-monaco.mc. Its ambition is twofold: 1-click access to information for greater fluidity, and enhanced promotion of the services of all professionals in the Principality.

New features:

Complus and Monaco Telecom have integrated a new unique search engine that eliminates the need to choose between professionals, individuals or type of activity. The time required for a consultation is thus shortened as much as possible, for better fluidity.

New features are integrated to enrich the experience. The weather forecast and news appear from the reception, as well as the highlighting of categories of professionals and an “Inspirations” section. It includes outings, leisure activities, shopping, and “tips” offered by traders throughout the year.

The Monaco mobile directory is intended to become a practical local medium serving all residents and professionals.

A more responsible paper directory

As part of its commitment to the National Pact for Energy Transition, Monaco Telecom pursues a more responsible approach every year for the documents it publishes. This 2020 edition therefore now combines the yellow pages and the white pages in a single directory. It is even more manageable and practical, and required 1.5 million fewer printed pages, further reducing its environmental impact.

A system has been set up with the SMA in front of the Principality’s post offices to ensure the collection of old directories for recycling. The directory is distributed in Monaco Telecom stores or in post offices until December 31, provided with the withdrawal voucher.

The directory in figures:

The directory includes 10,660 individuals and 3,661 registered companies, or 14,321 contacts at your fingertips and just a click away.

Martin Péronnet, Managing Director of Monaco Telecom: “The directory is an essential local service. Its new mobile version is really practical and easy to use. It is also a very effective medium for promoting the activity of all professionals in the Principality”

Frédéric Genta, Interministerial Delegate in charge of Digital Transition: “Today, Monegasques and residents of the Principality want to be just a click away from the services and products offered by Monegasque companies. The digitized version of our historical directory is an important step in this direction.”
