Minister of the Interior Patrice Cellario told a press conference at the Ministry of State on Monday that almost 100 tickets were issued in Monaco on Saturday and Sunday for not wearing a mask.

A further 52 fines were issued either for not maintaining social distancing, particularly in restaurants, or breaking the curfew (28).

For a first offence the fine is 200 euros, reduced to100 if paid immediately.

At the same conference, Minister of State Pierre Dartout repeatedly emphasised the need for everyone to wear a mask when in a public space in the Principality.
