UPDATED Wednesday, October 28 23:15: Air traffic at Nice Airport continues as normal after the announcement on Wednesday evening of a five-week lockdown in France.

There have been no changes in flight times and passengers arriving in Nice will be able to travel to their final destinations using public transport with their flight tickets as evidence of their right to be out and about.

However, there are no lockdown exemptions for people depositing or picking up passengers, unless the passenger is a minor or classed as vulnerable. Taxis, trams and the 110 express bus service continue as normal, according to our information, although this may change due to the French lockdown.

During the spring lockdown, only two or three flights operated daily to and from Nice.

British Airways continues to offer one or two flights daily to Heathrow. Meanwhile easyJet will not operate any UK-bound flights from Nice after November 1 until December 18.
