The total number of new cases of coronavirus so far this week in Monaco has risen to five, taking the total number of cases since the start of the epidemic to 125.
Of the two new cases reported on Wednesday, one was a non-resident who had contracted the disease while travelling abroad and is now in hospital in the Principality, the Government said on Wednesday evening.
As of August 5, two people are being treated at Princess Grace Hospital and nine – with mild or no symptoms – are isolated at home under the supervision of the medical services.
