The Hospital Tunnel on Boulevard de Belgique will be closed to cars and pedestrians in both directions from July 31 to August 2 as work crews secure a four-tonne boulder that engineers fear threatens to fall onto the road from the escarpment below the Jardin Exotique.

The number 5 hospital bus will travel to the hospital up Avenue Pastor, while pedestrians will be able to access the hospital by taking the Revoires elevator to reach the Boulevard du Jardin Exotique and the Hospital elevator.

A second phase of work aimed at reinforcing the pegging of boulders will require alternating traffic between August 3 and 8, from 07:30 to 19:00 only.
