Test results of the Charles III College contacts of the pupil who was infected with coronavirus have all come back negative, the Government said on Thursday. Three teachers have also tested negative and two more are awaiting results in France.
The sixth-grader had contracted coronavirus from a member of his family who had been travelling outside Europe. A third member of his family also tested positive.
In addition to the 11 classmates, other teenagers who had played basketball with him at Cap d’Ail also tested negative. The risks of cross-infection at Charles III College were deemed to be very low because of social distancing, the wearing of masks, and other hygiene measures in place.
