Monaco’s health authorities reported one more case of coronavirus on Wednesday evening, making it the third new case in four days following an 18-day period with no new cases.

However, all three cases were imported. Two were tennis players from the Adria Tour, organised by Monaco resident and number-one world champion Novak Djokovic, while the third was a visitor from Belgium. A total of 102 people have now tested positive for the virus since the start of the outbreak and 95 have fully recovered.

No cases are being treated at the Princess Grace Hospital and are being supervised by the Principality’s Home Monitoring Centre. The Government points out that not all cases involve individuals who are resident in Monaco, since CHPG caters for a much wider catchment area.
