The death has been announced of Baroness Elisabeth-Anne de Massy, a first cousin of HSH Prince Albert. The Baroness passed away at Princess Grace Hospital on Wednesday evening, aged 73.
The Baroness was godmother of Princess Stéphanie. She was very involved in the running of the Monaco Tennis Federation, where she served as its president from 1992, and as Vice President of the Monte-Carlo Country Club from 2008. Prince Rainier’s sister, the Baroness’s mother, Princess Antoinette had served as the president of the Tennis Federation from 1972 until 2008.
The Baroness had two children: Jean-Léonard Taubert-Natta de Massy, with Baron Bernard Alexandre Taubert-Natta, and Mélanie-Antoinette Costello de Massy with choreographer Nicolai Vladimir Costello.
