Bernard d’Alessandri, Secretary General and CEO of Monaco Yacht Club, has said that the yacht club is preparing to reopen and hopes to welcome back its members “very soon.”
“The hour of deconfinement is approaching and, with it, the pleasure of finding you very soon in your Club,” Mr d’Alessandri said in a message to friends and members.
“Like you, we are impatient to see you and take back the life of our Club. In close contact with the Monegasque authorities, we will not fail to keep you informed as soon as we know the official date of reopening of the Yacht Club and the resumption of its activities; the guidelines currently provide for early June.”
He said that the Club is working behind closed doors to ensure the best possible welcome back for its members.
“In addition, we are informing you of the launch of a new website, at www.ycm.mc, with the creation of a Members area which will allow you to follow all the news from the Yacht Club. We are also working on a new smartphone application that will accompany you when you visit your Club. Never has our motto “One Spirit, One Team, One Club” taken on such a deep meaning,” Mr d’Alessandri said.
