His Excellency Mr Lorenzo Ravano, Ambassador of Monaco to Germany, and Mr Wojciech Soczewica, Director General of the Auschwitz-Birkenau Foundation, have signed an innovative educational partnership agreement in Berlin.

This three-year agreement will enable nearly a hundred classes in European schools to take a virtual tour of the Auschwitz-Birkenau camp and its museum. Thanks to their immersive technology, these guided tours allow an exploration in an interactive the story of the former concentration and extermination camp.

This innovative approach exploits the potential of digital technology for educational purposes. It is a modern way to raise awareness among young people and an effective tool to convey a clear message : ” never again “
