The Prince’s Government will continue to cover transaction fees usually charged to businesses and restaurants when clients use the Carlo app.
Since December 2020, the application has generated 2.2 million euros in cashback, almost all of which (2 million) has already been re-spent by users. Carlo now has more than 32,000 users and averages 1,200 transactions per day through 426 partner merchants.
The Government is delighted with this virtuous economic circle which benefits both Monegasque merchants and local customers.
