After a first large consultation meeting held at the Ministry of State on May 23, the Prince’s Government again met key representatives of the hotel and restaurant sector on Tuesday, May 31.

The Restaurateurs’ and Hoteliers’ Association, representatives of the management and staff of SBM, Pastry Chefs, the Hôtels, Cafés, and Restaurants union and the USM were invited to the Ministry of State for a second working meeting.

The starting point was to work on a unified salary scale.

Progress has already been made, on the initiative of certain employers and the Government. Another area of focus is travel into the Principality for employees.

The parties agreed to meet again on Friday, June 17, at the Ministry of State, to formulate the first concrete proposals.
