HSH Princess Stéphanie, Godmother of the Prince’s Carabinieri, last week presented the Corps’ insignia to the ten Carabinieri students of the Carabinier Félicien Jaumary Graduation, in the presence of Colonel Tony Varo, Superior Commander of the Force Publique.

The military ceremony was held on the helicopter landing zone of the Caserne des Moneghetti. After the welcome of the Commandant, Martial Pied, Chief of Corps, and the review of the troops, the Pennant of the Company was presented to the young recruits who were then given, by the Godmother, the insignia of Corps, blessed by the Abbot Christian Venard, Chaplain of the Force Publique.

The Ceremony ended with the Monegasque Anthem played by the Orchestra of the Prince’s Carabinieri and all the soldiers. On May 16, the postulants took an oath to HSH the Sovereign Prince and His Family, thus committing to serve Them with “Honour, Fidelity and Dedication” as the motto of the Corps demands.
