A patient at Princess Grace Hospital, who was 88, has died after testing positive for coronavirus. According to the Monaco Government’s calculations, this takes to 24 the number of coroavirus-related deaths in the Principality.

In the meantime, 11 residents tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24-hour reporting period, while there were 12 full recoveries.

At present 28 residents are being treated at the Princess Grace Hospital, five of them in intensive care. In addition, 23 residents from outside Monaco in the hospital’s catchment area are also being treated as in-patients.

The number of residents with mild symptoms recovering at home under the care and supervision of the Home Monitoring Centre stands at 133.

In the UK on Saturday, 7,434 new cases and 290 new deaths were reported. In France the figures were 23,996 new cases and 185 new deaths.
