L’amour c’est gai, l’amour c’est triste

From 20:00, the Théâtre des Variétés will screen the 1968 French film, ‘L’amour c’est gai, l’amour c’est triste’. This classic piece of French cinema was directed by Jean-Daniel Pollet and features Chantal Goya, Jean-Pierre Marielle and Bernadette Lafont.

‘Take Four’ – an OPMC production

The Monte Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra present a ‘musical happy hour’ from 18:30 at the Auditorium Rainier III. On stage will be Sibylle Cornaton and Mitchell Huang while Raphael Chazal and Alexandre Fougeroux will play the viola and the cello.

‘George Dandin ou le mari confondu’ a Princess Grace Theatre production

This comical piece of French theatre will be accompanied by live music and held in the Grimaldi Forum. ‘George Dandin ou le mari confondu’ is another installation in what has been a busy 2020/21 season for the Princess Grace Theatre. Michel Fau is head of stage while Gaétan Jarry will direct the musicians.

The Roca Team welcome visiting French basketball team rivals Strasbourg to the Stade Louis II’s Salle Gaston Medecin.

‘Racines’ – an OPMC production

As part of the Monte Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra’s 2020/21 ‘Grande Saison’, Jukka-Pekka Saraste will direct the orchestra as they play the sounds of Max Bruch and Anton Bruckner. The soloist of the evening will be violinist Valeriy Sokolov.
