UPDATED 23:17 Monday, April 3: The three victims of the solo crash of an Audi SUV in the Louis II Tunnel in the early hours of Saturday morning have been provisionally identified, according to the Deputy Attorney General of Monaco, Morgan Raymond.

However, they will not be named until after autopsies are carried out on Wednesday together with the taking of DNA samples.

All the victims of the incident, which has shocked the Principality, were male and in their thirties. Two of them were Swiss nationals, and the other French. None were Monaco residents but two were employed in Monaco.

So far, it has not been possible to determine which of the victims was driving at the time of the tragedy, which happened shortly after 04:00 on Saturday morning.
