Minister of State Pierre Dartout on Tuesday visited the premises of Orbital Solutions Monaco (OSM), a start-up that has been present in the Principality for almost four years.
Specialised in the NewSpace* sector, the company located in the heart of the industrial district of Fontvieille designs nanosatellites and develops their placement in low orbit. It is the first Newspace laboratory in the PACA region.
OSM participates in the “democratisation” of the use of space and the development of innovative applications in many sectors, such as environmental studies, earth observation, and more.
A leader in EdTech, the Monegasque company has developed the first educational program in aerospace with college students from Charles III and FANB, and continues its educational approach with Swiss high school students who participated in the assembly of a nanosatellite whose launch is planned next April.
