Didier Gamerdinger, Monaco’s Ambassador to Japan, represented HSH the Prince at official events marking the birthday of His Majesty the Emperor.

He also took the opportunity to have further discussions with Ms Yumi Yoshikawa, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs, whom he previously met in September last year.

The Ambassador also met Mr Naohisa Okuda, Director General of the Ministry of the Environment’s Nature Conservation Bureau. The two men discussed potential partnerships between the Prince Albert II Foundation and Japanese non-governmental organisations on safeguarding biodiversity and protecting the oceans.
