While most indicators continued to show a marked improvement, the new infection rate of coronavirus nearly doubled in the seven days to Sunday, February 6.
The incidence rate rose from 36 one week earlier to 69. The figure is adjusted for 100,000 population. Twenty-seven new cases were reported in the latest seven-day period.
Meanwhile, only two residents were being treated for coronavirus symptoms at Princess Grace Hospital on Sunday, February 5, and only 12 residents with mild symptoms were recovering at home.
