On Tuesday November 15 Director of the CHPG Benoîte Rousseau de Sevelinges and the President of the French Blood Establishment, François Toujas, signed an Agreement between the EFS and the Blood Transfusion Centre (CTS) of the Princess Grace Hospital Centre (CHPG).

The signing took place in the presence of HSH the Sovereign Prince, Minister of Social Affairs and Health Christophe Robino, the Vice-Chairman of the CHPG Board of Directors, Caroline Rougaignon-Vernin and representatives of the Monegasque Red Cross and the Blood Donor Association.

The purpose of this agreement is to define the terms of cooperation between the EFS and the CTS in terms of training, regulatory and scientific monitoring, and improvement of the quality management in order to guarantee the highest level of safety over time.

The supply of blood products from the EFS is needed because transfusions collected within Monaco fall short of the needs of its three healthcare establishments.
