The bivalent Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, which is suitable for coronavirus variants currently in circulation – the original strain and Omicron BA.4 and BA.5 variants – will be available from next week in the Principality.

This vaccine will be accessible to people who have had a complete vaccination comprising at least two injections of vaccine or one injection and one documented infection (positive PCR or antigen test).

Those wishing to benefit from this bivalent booster dose are invited to report to the Covid19 Call Center at 92.05.55.00, reachable 7/7 days from 09:00 to 17:00 or on https://vaccination-covid19.gouv.mc or to make an appointment directly online on the Monaco Health website https://patient.monacosante.mc/fr/vaccination-covid-19/monaco.

This bivalent booster dose, which is accessible to all, is particularly recommended for people aged 60 and over and pregnant women; it is strongly recommended for people aged 80 and over, as well as people who are immunocompromised or suffering from one or more comorbidities.

The Comirnaty monovalent vaccine from Pfizer-BioNTech remains available for the first vaccination of persons aged 12 and over.
