On the third day of the Monaco Yacht Show NEWS.MC spoke to Bob Denison, ex-owner and now president of Denison Yachting.

Last year Bob told us that he would be opening an office right here in the heart of the Principality which has now been completed.

“The expansion into Monaco has been built up nicely as we now have seven yacht and charter brokers, and our focus in Monaco is much more on the bigger yachts. To be a leader in the superyacht industry you have to be in Monaco which I do not see changing in the next 100 years.”

“One of our goals in Monaco for this coming year is to get into yacht and charter management as well as crew placement and have a full range of superyacht services as we do in the US.”

When asked about the initiative Denison Yachting is making on sustainability he said:

“Two weeks ago we visited 15 of the best shipyards in the Netherlands, such as Feadship and Amels. Sometimes you wonder whether the question of sustainability is for the purposes of PR but now in 2022 I believe shipyards are having much more sincere conversations regarding sustainability which was not the case five or six years ago.”
