Although it has continued to be very warm in Monaco, despite the lifting of an official orange alert, with daytime highs of 31, even hotter days are on the horizon, according to forecasters.
There will be a gradual increase in temperatures until by Thursday, August 4, we can expect to see highs of 34 or 35. Nighttime temperatures are anticipated to be around 27.
Things will be hotter still in the Var, the forecasters say. Furthermore, there is no end in sight to this sustained period of very high temperatures along the Riviera.
