Having missed a year due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Monaco Grand Prix is determined to make a return in 2021. The crown jewel of the Formula 1 calendar is scheduled for Sunday, May 23, and will be preceded by two other events.

The race days of the 12th Grand Prix de Monaco Historique and the 4th Monaco E-Prix are scheduled for Sunday, April 25 and Saturday, May 8 respectively. The timing of these earlier races means that the extensive preparations will start early.

To accommodate such a busy program, all preparatory and assembly work for the installation of infrastructure has been brought forward by a fortnight. Preparatory work will begin on February 22, while assembly work will begin on February 23 in the port area, and on March 31 in the Monte-Carlo district.
