The International Day of the Rights of the Child, organised each year by the Department of National Education, Youth and Sports, whose celebration was scheduled for November 21, has been postponed to a later date due to the health crisis.
The day will be rescheduled at the Grimaldi Forum in the coming months, as soon as the situation allows.
Meanwhile, there will be an awareness campaign for all Monaco students on the theme of Rights of the Child during the week of November 16 to 20.
Funds will be collected that will be donated to humanitarian associations * in Monaco in order to help them carry out their aid missions. This support will also help pupils and young students residing in the Principality or in neighbouring municipalities facing certain difficulties in life.
For more than 23 years the celebration of the Day has helped nearly thirty-five Foundations, Associations or International Programs, working in favour of children in terms of Education, Health and Personal Protection.
