If you are feeling nostalgic for the magic of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the National Sports Museum in Nice is offering a chance to relive that unforgettable summer…
The exhibition “A Summer 2024: The Flame Never Dies” invites visitors to step back into the atmosphere of celebration, performance and national pride that defined the Games.
More than 800 objects have been collected over three years, many donated directly by athletes and their entourages. Among the highlights are the boots of rugby sevens champion Antoine Zeghdar, who began his journey in Monaco, and items linked to triathlon gold medallist Cassandre Beaugrand, who trained with AS Monaco Athlétisme. Visitors can also discover iconic pieces such as Teddy Riner’s kimono, Novak Djokovic’s shirt and official Olympic and Paralympic medals.
The exhibition recreates the emotion of the opening ceremony through immersive sound and digital installations, before guiding guests into sections celebrating French champions and global sporting heroes. Interactive features allow visitors to relive defining moments, including Léon Marchand’s swimming triumphs.
Running until 2030 and regularly updated with new items, the exhibition ensures that the spirit of Paris 2024 continues to inspire future generations across the region.
