Preparations for Monaco’s major 2026 motorsport events are set to begin at the end of February, with a series of night works scheduled along Quai Albert-I and Boulevard Albert-I…

The Automobile Club of Monaco confirmed that the operations will support the staging of three flagship events: the Monaco Historic Grand Prix in April, the Monaco E-Prix in May, and the Formula 1 Grand Prix in June.

To reduce disruption to daytime traffic in the Principality, most construction and installation work will take place during evening and night hours. The first phase, focused on assembling grandstands and modular structures, is planned across several nights between late February and March. Key areas affected will include sections of the port and surrounding roads where essential race infrastructure must be installed.

Further night operations are scheduled in June and July to dismantle the temporary facilities once the events have concluded. These installations include team garages, technical zones, hospitality areas and spectator stands, all vital to the smooth running and safety of the races.

The Automobile Club emphasised that careful planning of night works is intended to limit inconvenience for residents and road users while ensuring Monaco is fully prepared to host its internationally renowned motorsport calendar.
