The Principality will host a new edition of the Monaco Run Gramaglia on the weekend of Saturday, February 14 and Sunday, February 15, with organisers confirming a record level of participation and the renewal of the event’s title partnership.

Around 4,500 runners are expected to line up across the various races, marking the highest attendance since the event’s creation and underlining its growing appeal among road running and trail enthusiasts. Several flagship races are already sold out, including the City Trail on Saturday and the 10 km race on Sunday.

Registrations remain open for the Trail du Mont Agel, which returns for its second edition on Saturday over a 30 km course, as well as for the 5 km race scheduled for Sunday morning. The organisers have also confirmed the return of the “solidarity bib” initiative, allowing last-minute registrations up to the day before the races.

Younger participants will once again be part of the programme, with free 1,000-metre races for children taking place on Saturday afternoon.

On the partnership front, the Fédération Monégasque d’Athlétisme has announced the extension of its collaboration with the Gramaglia, which will remain title partner of the Monaco Run until 2029. Gramaglia has held the role since 2024 and is a long-established Monaco-based group active in insurance brokerage, real estate and property management.

Frédéric Choquard, Director General of the Federation, welcomed the announcement, saying the Monaco Run Gramaglia has firmly established itself as a major fixture on the Principality’s sporting calendar. He added that the renewal of the partnership reflects a long-term relationship built on shared values and local commitment.

Michel Gramaglia, Director of the Gramaglia Group, described the event as a flagship gathering for Monaco and said the group was proud to continue supporting a race that brings together residents, athletes and visitors while showcasing the Principality.

The event will unfold over two days, with races scheduled throughout the weekend. On Saturday, the Trail du Mont Agel will start at 8:30, followed by the City Trail at 9:00, while children’s races will take place in the afternoon. Sunday’s programme includes the 10 km race at 9:15, the 5 km at 10:50, and the Pink Ribbon Walk at 10:15.

Alongside the races, a Running Expo will be open to the public on Quai Albert Ier, offering spectators the chance to meet partners and support participants. The expo will run from Friday through to Sunday, with extended opening hours across the weekend.

Organisers say the combination of strong participation, a varied programme and long-term partner support points to another successful edition of the Monaco Run Gramaglia.
