Monaco has once again marked its commitment to the global Pink October campaign, with His Serene Highness Prince Albert II lending visible support by illuminating the Prince’s Palace in vivid pink…
The striking display, visible across the Rock on Saturday evening, served as a symbol of national solidarity with women affected by breast cancer and as a reminder of the crucial role early screening plays in saving lives.
The gesture, coordinated with the Pink Ribbon Monaco association, was more than symbolic. It reinforced the core message of the campaign: the earlier breast cancer is detected, the less invasive treatment is likely to be, and the greater the chances of recovery. Residents are encouraged to take full advantage of screening facilities available at the Princess Grace Hospital Centre and specialist imaging clinics.
Awareness also extended beyond the Palace walls. The traditional Pink Ribbon Gala returned to the Empire Room of the Hôtel de Paris on Saturday, bringing together long-standing supporters, philanthropists and medical professionals for an evening that mixed elegance with purpose. Funds raised will support research and local initiatives focused on prevention and support for patients during treatment.
Once again, Monaco proves that solidarity shines brightest when lit together.
