Monaco’s Digital House is celebrating its second anniversary this year, having quickly become an essential hub for learning, training, and understanding everyday digital tools…
Open to all and guided by a bilingual team, the initiative has one clear mission: to reduce the digital divide and make technology a tool of daily service for residents of the Principality.
Every day, free workshops welcome both beginners and advanced users, offering practical solutions to real-life digital challenges. The programme is built around two key pillars: the specific needs brought forward by participants and global digital trends shaping society. This summer, for example, workshops on online scams proved particularly popular. Participants were immersed in real-world scenarios, learning how to identify warning signs and respond effectively.
Another major theme has been artificial intelligence, with ChatGPT featuring prominently. Residents are encouraged to test the technology, explore its potential, and better understand the revolution it represents. Beyond this, the Digital House offers more than 25 workshops by reservation, covering topics from social media use and online shopping to mobile applications and emerging technologies. Drop-in assistance is also available without appointment for those facing immediate digital difficulties.
Looking ahead, the Digital House will once again host IMVE Week from November 4 to 7, an annual event designed to inform and inspire participants about the latest developments in the digital world.
In just two years, Monaco’s Digital House has established itself as an innovative and trusted resource, ensuring that technology empowers every resident.
