While much of the Principality welcomes visitors under the Riviera sun, Monaco’s political leadership continues to operate at full speed…

Summer is no reason to slow down for newly appointed Minister of State Christophe Mirmand, who has used the season to deepen his understanding of Monaco’s key institutions and build working relationships across sectors.

This week, Mirmand met with Gérald Rameix, President of the Commission for the Control of Financial Activities (CCAF), to discuss regulatory frameworks and the ongoing importance of maintaining investor confidence in Monaco’s financial environment. He also held talks with Robert Chanas, President of the Data Protection Authority, to reinforce Monaco’s commitment to safeguarding personal information in an increasingly digital age.

Meanwhile, Minister of Social Affairs and Health Christophe Robino visited a care centre, which specialises in support and prevention services for addiction. He joined a delegation from the Association of Women Leaders of Monaco, led by Chantal Ravera, underscoring the government’s engagement with civil society and its continued focus on health and social issues even during the holiday months.

These meetings highlight how Monaco’s political and administrative activities continue seamlessly year-round. As the Principality remains a hub for tourism and international business throughout the summer, its leaders are ensuring that the machinery of government stays firmly in motion. In Monaco, even in high season, progress doesn’t take a vacation.
