The Riviera’s most glamorous playground is getting a seasonal facelift. Monaco is embracing a full “Glow Up” as it steps into spring and summer, with Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer launching its 2025 campaign filled with oversized wild rose installations, sun-drenched terraces, culinary flair, and round-the-clock revelry.

The idea behind this year’s theme is to inject new energy into Monaco’s streets, hotels and social calendar, blending luxury with nature in full bloom. Colossal floral arrangements will pop up throughout the Principality, setting the tone for a season dedicated to beauty, indulgence and a touch of theatricality.

With the sunshine comes the return of terrace culture, and nowhere does it with more panache than Em Sherif Monte-Carlo. Back for a fourth consecutive season on the terrace of the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo, Chef Yasmina Hayek brings the soul of Beirut to the Côte d’Azur with a menu of Middle Eastern favourites like hummus, mutabbal, kefta and baklava. DJs set the tone in the evenings, as diners take in sweeping views of the Mediterranean from newly refreshed lounge furniture. The terrace will remain open through September 28.

Meanwhile, the legendary Café de Paris Monte-Carlo is preparing to swap French flair for Iberian fire during Spanish Week from June 11 to June 15. Expect live flamenco performances from the José Lucena Group and singer Alvaro Alcaidhe, alongside fresh tapas and on-the-spot jamón carving by Spanish slicing maestro Javier Manfredi. The iconic brasserie will transform into a buzzing Madrid-style tapas joint right on Place du Casino.

More surprises, pop-up venues and sun-soaked spectacles are expected as summer unfolds, in a season designed to dazzle both by day and by night. Monaco’s “Glow Up” isn’t just a fresh coat of sparkle — it’s a full-throttle reinvention of Riviera living.
