Monaco is expanding its on-demand transport network, with the ClicBus service set to begin serving the Centre Hospitalier Princesse Grace from Monday, April 20. The move marks a further step in efforts to improve access to key public facilities across the Principality.

Launched in March 2024 by the Princely Government and operated by the Compagnie des Autobus de Monaco, ClicBus was designed to fill gaps in areas not easily reached by traditional bus routes. The service currently connects neighbourhoods including Plati, Les Fleurs and Annonciade to major interchange points such as Place d’Armes, Fontvieille Shopping Centre, Monte Carlo Tourism and Place des Moulins.

Usage has steadily grown since its introduction, with nearly 35,000 journeys recorded in 2025, averaging around 2,900 trips per month. The addition of the hospital as a new hub is expected to further increase demand, particularly by improving access to one of Monaco’s most important healthcare facilities.

Officials say the expansion reflects a broader strategy to offer more flexible and practical mobility solutions, tailored to the unique constraints of Monaco’s compact urban landscape. By complementing the existing public transport network, the service aims to provide a more responsive alternative for daily travel.

ClicBus operates seven days a week and can be booked via a dedicated mobile app or by phone. Fares remain aligned with standard bus ticket prices, and all existing CAM passes and subscriptions are accepted on board.

With this latest development, the government continues to refine its transport offering, focusing on accessibility and convenience for residents and visitors alike.
