MonacoTech has unveiled a new initiative designed to accelerate innovation within the Principality, with the launch of its “Test in Monaco” programme…

The scheme aims to connect startups directly with local businesses and institutions, allowing them to trial their solutions in real-world conditions. The concept marks a shift in approach for the incubator. Rather than focusing solely on selecting and supporting startups, MonacoTech is now actively engaging with companies across Monaco to identify specific challenges and areas of interest. From there, it sources startups capable of delivering targeted solutions, creating a more collaborative and demand-driven innovation model.

With around 500 startup applications received each year, MonacoTech has access to a broad pool of ideas and technologies. This new programme seeks to channel that potential directly into the local economy, enabling businesses to benefit from cutting-edge innovation while offering startups valuable testing opportunities.

The initiative is also expected to strengthen Monaco’s position as a hub for entrepreneurship and technological development. By encouraging startups to establish a presence in the Principality, the programme supports long-term economic growth through the creation of sustainable businesses, new talent and increased commercial activity.

Beyond immediate applications, “Test in Monaco” could also contribute to the development of new intellectual property and patents, further enhancing the Principality’s innovation ecosystem.

With this launch, MonacoTech continues to evolve its role, positioning itself not just as an incubator, but as a key facilitator of innovation across Monaco’s business landscape.
