Monaco is set to host an international artificial intelligence conference on Saturday, May 2, as Business Future Institute and AI Monaco join forces to stage a high-level afternoon forum at the Monaco Yacht Club.

The event, co-organised by Silvia Andriotto Melia and Leonardo Fabbri, will draw speakers and attendees from Silicon Valley, Seattle, London, Paris, Milan and beyond for a cross-disciplinary programme covering AI, venture capital, finance, robotics, law, insurance and digital infrastructure.

Confirmed speakers span a wide range of sectors. On the technology and data governance side, Anna Zeiter — incoming CEO of European social media platform W and former Global Chief Privacy Officer at eBay — will share her expertise in AI regulation and platform accountability. Stéphanie Lopez, principal investigator of the LungScreenAI project at Université Côte d’Azur, will bring a medical AI perspective, having led an AI-powered early lung cancer screening initiative in collaboration with CHU de Nice since 2018.

The finance and investment strand features Rosa Sangiorgio, founder of RSg Impact Investing and former senior figure at Pictet, Credit Suisse and Société Générale, alongside William Jakeman, Associate Director at CVC focusing on digital infrastructure assets including data centres and fibre networks.

Rounding out the programme are Geoffrey Hills, Global Head of Crisis 24 AiiA Powered by Palantir Technologies; Martin Seebach, CTO of Foxtrot Professional Services and a former Palantir engineer; Anatolii Pasichnyk, Operations Director at autonomous drone company Zipline; and Pietro Lanza, Managing Director of Italian digital innovation group Havant.

Fabbri described the conference as part of AI Monaco’s broader mission to serve as an independent research and interpretation layer for leaders, investors and family offices navigating rapid technological change. Andriotto Melia said the event aims to connect frontier innovation with finance, law and governance at a moment when decision-makers face mounting pressure to understand AI’s strategic implications.

The Monaco Yacht Club provides an intimate backdrop for what the organisers describe as both a knowledge platform and a curated networking environment. The conference is the third edition to be held in the Principality under the AI Monaco banner.
