Fresh revelations from the latest release of the “Epstein Files” have unearthed documents highlighting the role of a former student from Nice who later worked in the Principality’s banking sector…

The correspondence, made public by US authorities, outlines a long-running relationship between Jeffrey Epstein and the woman, referred to as Masha, whose professional path took her from the French Riviera to a position at the Monaco branch of a Swiss bank. Emails spanning several years suggest she introduced Epstein to young women across the region, occasionally sharing profiles and arranging meetings while presenting herself as a trusted intermediary.

According to reporting by Monaco Matin, the exchanges reveal what investigators describe as a “parallel recruitment activity” operating alongside her legal and financial career. The same report notes that some introductions appear to have taken place during the period when she was living and working in Monaco, placing the Principality within the wider geography of Epstein’s Riviera network.

One message from 2015 has attracted particular attention. In it, the woman asks Epstein about the wellbeing of a young contact following an arranged meeting, writing: “What happened… Were you nice to her?” The question went unanswered in the released documents but has become demonstrative of the troubling tone of the correspondence.

The woman has previously denied knowingly recruiting for Epstein, stating that she was drawn into his orbit as a young professional seeking investors and connections. She has insisted she was unaware of criminal activity and has expressed regret over the association.

Nonetheless, the newly released material has reignited debate across the Riviera about how Epstein’s network operated, and how Monaco has been drawn into the scandal.
