Monaco will once again turn pink this winter as the 15th edition of the Pink Ribbon Walk returns to Port Hercule on Sunday, February 15. The annual event, dedicated to raising awareness and funds for the prevention of female cancers, is expected to draw hundreds of participants from across the Principality and beyond.

Organised by Pink Ribbon Monaco, the walk has become a staple of the local calendar, blending sport, solidarity and public engagement. Proceeds from this year’s edition will support a women’s health study conducted in Monaco, reinforcing the association’s commitment to advancing research and prevention initiatives.

Marking its 15th anniversary, the 2026 edition introduces a new artistic dimension. The official poster has been created by internationally recognised street artist Mr. A, known for his minimalist silhouettes and poetic visual style. His design reflects the collective spirit of the event, highlighting movement, unity and shared purpose in a simple yet striking visual identity.

The five-kilometre walk will begin at 10:15, following a scenic route past some of Monaco’s most iconic landmarks, including the Prince’s Palace, the Cathedral, the Oceanographic Museum and the terraces of the Monte-Carlo Casino. The event is open to all ages and fitness levels, with children under 13 able to participate free of charge. Organisers note that certain sections may require assistance for those with prams or wheelchairs.

In keeping with the walk’s inclusive and symbolic nature, participants will not wear race numbers. Instead, they will be invited to write messages of support or tribute to loved ones affected by female cancers. The focus remains on visibility and community rather than competition.

Additional activities will include a tombola, with tickets available on the day, and participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt provided by partner SBM Offshore. Held in partnership with the Monegasque Athletics Federation, the Pink Ribbon Walk continues a long-standing tradition of combining sport and philanthropy in the Principality — a model that has inspired similar initiatives internationally.
