Outward Bound Monaco has announced the return of its Summer Adventure Programme, offering young people in the Principality the opportunity to take part in outdoor education courses in the United Kingdom during the summer holidays.

The programme offers subsidised, fully escorted stays of one, two or three weeks at Outward Bound centres in the Lake District, West Wales and Scotland. Open to children and teenagers aged between 10 and 17, the initiative is designed to support personal development through structured outdoor challenges in a supervised environment.

Participants take part in a wide range of activities aimed at building confidence, resilience, teamwork and leadership skills. These include hiking, navigation exercises, camping and problem-solving challenges, delivered by qualified instructors at established Outward Bound UK centres. The courses are tailored to different age groups and experience levels, with an emphasis on personal growth rather than competition.

At the conclusion of each programme, participants are recognised during an awards ceremony, marking the completion of their course and celebrating the progress achieved throughout the experience. The ceremony provides an opportunity to reflect on individual achievements, group cohesion and the skills developed during the programme.

Outward Bound Monaco highlights that the Summer Adventure Programme extends beyond outdoor activity, encouraging young people to step outside their comfort zones, develop independence and strengthen social skills. Travel and supervision from Monaco to the United Kingdom are organised as part of the programme, ensuring continuity of care throughout the stay.

Financial support is available through subsidised places, helping to make the programme accessible to a broad range of families. The summer initiative forms part of Outward Bound Monaco’s wider mission to promote youth development through experiential learning beyond the classroom.

Families seeking further details on dates, availability and application procedures are invited to contact Outward Bound Monaco directly.
