Welcomed by local authorities and residents, HSH Prince Albert II began his visit with a warm reception reflecting the strong historical and cultural ties between the Principality and the Piedmont region. The programme continued at the Teatro Marenco, where the Sovereign delivered a speech highlighting the importance of preserving shared heritage and strengthening links between communities shaped by Grimaldi history.

The visit concluded with the unveiling of a commemorative plaque formalising Ceva’s membership in the Historic Grimaldi Sites network, an initiative that promotes historical awareness and cross-border cultural cooperation.

The Sovereign’s visit to Italy continues today in Millesimo, further underlining Monaco’s commitment to celebrating its historical roots in Italy while reinforcing long-standing friendships with its neighbouring regions.
