CMB Monaco and Grimaldi Forum Monaco have confirmed the renewal of their premium partnership for 2026, extending a collaboration that has linked two of the Principality’s most emblematic institutions for more than two decades.
The agreement was signed on Tuesday, January 13, and reaffirms CMB Monaco’s support for the Grimaldi Forum’s full cultural programme throughout the year. The renewal reflects a shared commitment to cultural development, international influence and corporate social responsibility within Monaco.
The partnership was formalised by Étienne Franzi, Chairman of CMB Monaco, alongside Olivier Pagès, representing the bank’s executive management, with Henri Fissore, Chairman of the Grimaldi Forum, and Sylvie Biancheri, the Forum’s General Manager. Through this renewed patronage, CMB Monaco continues to associate its image with the Grimaldi Forum’s cultural ambitions, contributing to the international visibility of the Principality.
For Henri Fissore, the renewal highlights the stability of the relationship between the two institutions, describing it as a consistent and enduring commitment. Étienne Franzi echoed this sentiment, underlining the trust built over more than 20 years of collaboration and reaffirming the bank’s confidence in the Grimaldi Forum as a dynamic cultural partner with which CMB Monaco has been closely associated for 21 years.
Beyond cultural patronage, the partnership also places increasing emphasis on social responsibility. Since 2023, joint initiatives have focused on widening access to culture, particularly for younger and more vulnerable audiences. A pilot project launched during the exhibition Monet in Full Light welcomed children from the region through the association Les Enfants de Frankie, an initiative that has since been renewed annually.
In subsequent years, the collaboration expanded to include visual arts workshops for children, teenagers and young autistic adults in partnership with Monaco Disease Power following the exhibition Turner’s Sublime Legacy. In 2025, an inclusive guided visit was organised around Colours! Masterpieces from the Centre Pompidou in collaboration with AMAPEI. Plans are currently underway to develop the 2026 programme of inclusive visits in connection with the upcoming exhibition Monaco and the Automobile.
Olivier Pagès highlighted the alignment between the two organisations, noting that both convey Monaco’s values of excellence on an international stage. He described the Grimaldi Forum as an ideal partner at the intersection of cultural influence and global openness, adding that supporting major exhibitions takes on particular significance as corporate cultural responsibility becomes an increasingly important issue.
Sylvie Biancheri also welcomed the renewal, pointing to CMB Monaco’s role as a recognised cultural patron and emphasising the shared commitment of both organisations to environmental and societal challenges, in line with the Principality’s broader vision. She noted that this commitment goes hand in hand with maintaining high standards of service and quality.
Founded in 1976, CMB Monaco is a leading international private bank specialising in wealth management, investment advisory and corporate and investment banking services, with a strong focus on serving Monaco residents and international clients. The Grimaldi Forum Monaco, recognisable for its glass and steel architecture, is the Principality’s main congress and cultural centre, hosting around 100 events each year and welcoming approximately 300,000 visitors, while holding ISO 14001 and ISO 20121 certifications for environmental and sustainable event management.
With this renewed agreement, both institutions reaffirm a partnership built on trust, cultural ambition and a shared sense of responsibility, reinforcing Monaco’s position as a centre for excellence and cultural influence on the international stage.
