Each year on November 21, World Television Day celebrates the global influence and importance of the small screen…

The date commemorates the first World Television Forum, held by the United Nations on 21 November 1996, when TV was formally recognised as a vital tool for communication, information and cultural connection.

In Monaco, the occasion is also an opportunity to highlight the invaluable work of our partners, Monaco Info, the Principality’s public television channel and a daily reference point for residents. Every programme is the product of a dedicated team—journalists, presenters, production managers, editors, camera operators, sound engineers and technical crews—who work together with professionalism and passion to deliver clear, reliable and relevant news.

From major national ceremonies to cultural events, sports coverage, institutional updates and community stories, Monaco Info plays a central role in how the Principality sees itself and how it presents itself to the world.

On this World Television Day, Monaco Info opens its doors to showcase the people and expertise behind the channel. It is a chance to recognise their commitment to high-quality public service broadcasting and to celebrate the essential role television continues to play in informing and connecting society.
