This initiative forms part of the fifth evaluation cycle of the Council of Europe’s Group of States against Corruption (GRECO). During the session, committee members continued their work on implementing actions responding to the recommendations outlined in GRECO’s evaluation report on Monaco, adopted on June 21, 2024.
These efforts reflect the Principality’s determination to strengthen transparency, accountability, and integrity across its institutions. The Minister of State commended the progress already made and the sustained engagement of all stakeholders involved in the process. He underlined that this collective commitment demonstrates the Principality’s firm resolve—guided by His Serene Highness Prince Albert II—to meet GRECO’s international standards.
The initiative remains a top political priority for the Monegasque Government, underscoring Monaco’s ongoing efforts to ensure exemplary governance and maintain the confidence of its partners and citizens alike.
