The inaugural Grand Prix de la Haute Joaillerie lit up the Salle des Étoiles at the Sporting Monte-Carlo on Saturday night, bringing together the world’s leading jewellery maisons for an evening celebrating artistry, heritage, and innovation…

Founded by the Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer and Jean-Philippe Braud, the new event drew an audience of international jewellers, collectors, and cultural figures, including representatives from Chanel, Chopard, Bvlgari, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co., Messika, Dolce & Gabbana, and Anna Hu. The evening opened with speeches by Stéphane Valéri, President-Délégué of SBM, and Jean-Philippe Braud, who hailed the event as a milestone in honouring jewellery’s cultural and artistic significance.

The highlight of the night was the awards presentation, led by a jury chaired by renowned jewellery expert Fabienne Reybaud. The Grand Prix de la Haute Joaillerie 2025 was awarded to Chanel for its Sweater, Haute Joaillerie Sport necklace, while Tiffany & Co. received the Jury’s Special Prize for its Blue Book 2025. Caroline Scheufele of Chopard was named Visionary of the Year, and Messika, Dior, and Louis Vuitton each received prizes for design, craftsmanship, and gemstones, respectively. The Public Prize went to Dolce & Gabbana for its Sardinia necklace.

Guests included Eva Herzigová, Isabelle Huppert, Natalia Vodianova, and Lady Kitty Spencer, while Michelin-starred chef Marcel Ravin created a dinner inspired by the craft of fine jewellery. The evening concluded with a glittering after-party at Jimmy’z Monte-Carlo, cementing Monaco’s newest cultural event as a future icon in the world of haute jewellery.
