Monaco’s Department of Urban Amenities (DAU) has announced a new round of resurfacing works to maintain the quality and safety of the Principality’s streets. The campaign will run from Tuesday, October 21 to Friday, November 7, with all work carried out exclusively at night to minimise disruption.
Temporary lane closures and parking restrictions will be in place across several key roads, with advance notices displayed in the affected areas and building entrances. Signage will guide motorists through detours, and emergency and police vehicles will retain full access at all times. Pedestrian pathways will remain open and clearly marked throughout the operation.
Bus routes impacted by the closures will be diverted from 20:00 each evening, with specific information provided by the Compagnie des Autobus de Monaco.
Among the areas scheduled for resurfacing are Rue Princesse Florestine, Rue Suffren Reymond, Boulevard d’Italie, Avenue Princesse Charlotte, Rue du Gabian and Avenue de Fontvieille. Access to the Wurtemberg car park in Fontvieille will be temporarily closed, with alternative parking arrangements made available for residents.
The DAU thanked residents for their patience and cooperation, noting that these night-time works are essential to ensure Monaco’s roads remain both safe and efficient for all users.
