Monaco is set to be cloaked in shades of orange and black this autumn as Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer (SBM) launches two weeks of Halloween festivities from Saturday, October 18, to Sunday, November 2. The Principality will come alive with pumpkin-lined promenades, trick-or-treat hunts, magic shows, and lavish costume parties in some of its most iconic venues.

Casino Square will once again serve as the heart of the celebration, transformed with glowing pumpkins, hanging witch hats, and flickering light displays. The façades of the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo, Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo, Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort, and the Café de Paris Monte-Carlo will all embrace the spooky season, while the shopping arcades and François Blanc walkway will add to the haunted ambience.

Children staying in SBM’s hotels will receive their own Halloween surprise, with a themed gift bag and a map marking out sweet collection points across the resort for an exclusive Monte-Carlo trick-or-treat adventure.

The fun continues at New Moods on Wednesday, October 29, where young guests aged 4 to 7 can enjoy “Halloween Magic”, featuring a magician, creative workshops, face painting, and plenty of sweets. Later that evening, older children aged 8 to 12 will take over the dance floor for a lively Halloween party with a DJ and snack buffet.

SBM’s most famous restaurants are also joining the fun with themed menus and seasonal flair. At Café de Paris Monte-Carlo, guests can enjoy a festive Halloween lunch on Thursday, October 31, with family-friendly decorations and face-painting for kids. The following day, Marlow at Mareterra will host a Halloween-themed brunch, and on Sunday, November 2, the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort’s renowned Champagne Brunch Party will feature a candy bar, magician, and eerie gourmet delights.

When night falls, the celebrations turn up a notch. Buddha-Bar Monte-Carlo will present its “Buddhalloween” from Monday, October 28, to Friday, November 1, blending its signature Asian fusion cuisine with autumnal flavours and mystical décor. Jimmy’z Monte-Carlo will throw a full-scale costume party on Thursday, October 31, with the Tantrüm collective keeping the crowd dancing until dawn.

Over at the Casino Café de Paris, Halloween will bring both thrills and prizes, with a Lucky Wheel worth over €60,000, live entertainment, and a Candy Bar for guests on Thursday, October 31.

From spellbinding family fun to glamorous late-night revelry, Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer is set to deliver a Halloween celebration that’s as stylish as it is spine-tingling.
