Monaco added a new jewel to its social calendar on Saturday, October 4, as the Principality hosted its first-ever Global Gift Gala at the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo. The evening, brimming with glamour and generosity, was led by Eva Longoria, who presided as honorary chair of the event.
Longoria, best known for her role in Desperate Housewives and her extensive humanitarian work, arrived fresh from Paris Fashion Week to join Princess Stéphanie of Monaco, along with members of the princely family including Louis and Marie Ducruet, Camille Gottlieb, and Alexandre Grimaldi.
Held in the Hôtel de Paris’s storied Salle Empire, the gala marked the Global Gift Foundation’s first stop in Monaco, expanding a series that spans several continents and raises funds for projects supporting children, women, and families in need. Proceeds from the evening are expected to help provide medical therapies for disadvantaged children and to fund charitable initiatives abroad.
The event was also a family milestone for Camille Gottlieb, who co-organised the gala alongside her business partner Medy Anthony through their company CMC Consulting. Princess Stéphanie lent her support not only as a mother but as a long-time humanitarian in her own right.
Music filled the evening thanks to French singer Vitaa, who performed several of her biggest hits, while the legendary Daddy Yankee was honoured for his global philanthropic efforts. Princess Stéphanie was also recognised for her two decades of dedication to the fight against HIV/AIDS through Fight Aids Monaco, which she founded in 2004.
Among the well-known faces attending were Arthur Leclerc and Jade Distinguin, and model Baptiste Giabiconi, who joined the celebrations alongside the event’s main sponsor, Monaco-based jeweller APM Monaco.
From dazzling gowns to heartfelt tributes, the evening showcased Monaco’s trademark mix of elegance and empathy — a powerful statement that charity and glamour can, indeed, share the same stage.
