At just 11 years old, Lina Salamanca is already making waves on Monaco’s karting scene…

Her passion began at the age of eight when a temporary track at Port Hercule ignited what she calls “a rocket-like feeling” behind the wheel. Since then, she has spent every spare moment honing her skills, driven by a dream to one day become a Formula 1 driver like her idol Charles Leclerc. Two years ago, Lina’s talent was recognised when she won the prestigious Jules Bianchi Steering Wheel. In 2024 she represented the “mini” category in the FIA Academy’s Championship of the Future, competing in a sport still largely dominated by boys.

Today Lina trains regularly at Monaco’s Box 98 and travels to circuits in France and Italy whenever budgets and schedules allow. Determined to prepare for the next stage of her young career, she has added physical conditioning to her routine to be ready for 2026 competitions.

Supporting her dream, Lina’s mother has launched a series of children’s books and a clothing brand inspired by her daughter’s energy. “Adrénalina” — a blend of adrenaline and Lina — shares the world of karting with young readers and fans, offering everything from illustrated guides to colourful racing-themed outfits. Initially designed for girls, demand has been so strong that a boys’ line is also planned.

With talent, perseverance and family creativity fuelling her journey, Lina Salamanca continues to race towards her ambition — proving that passion and hard work can open doors to the highest levels of motorsport.
